Bamboo scrimber review
A literature review of the development of bamboo scrimber.
As reported in: Huang, Ji, Yu (2019). Development of bamboo scrimber: a literature review. Journal of Wood Science. doi:10.1186/s10086-019-1806-4
Also: bamboo, engineered bamboo, bamboo scrimber
Bamboo is a giant grass that grows to full size in a few years. Pressed and glued into engineered products it competes with timber and steel in some uses, and its fibres and charcoal are used in composites and water treatment.
